CROSSLINX TRANSIT SOLUTIONS
TULLOCH provided topographic survey services for the development and design of the Crosslinx Project along Eglinton Avenue. The survey included the street level topographic features as well as the crossing railway lines (GO, CN & CP) along the 25km project. Survey value of this project was approximately $500,000.
This survey project was challenging as it involved working in a very busy urban environment. To complete the survey in the most efficient way, TULLOCH used terrestrial LiDAR Scanning, Mobile LiDAR Scanning, conventional GPS and Total Station surveying, as well as photogrammetric mapping. As part of the project, TULLOCH was required to provide a terrestrial LiDAR scan of the Kodak building at the west end of the project.
Mobile LiDAR was utilized for survey of the streetline as it sped up the collections process and reduced risks of working along a busy corridor. Conventional infill surveys were required to supplement the LiDAR information. TULLOCH provided both CAD deliverables and BIM Modelling to the design team to allow for 3 -Dimensional design.
