The Greenwich Wind Farm is a wind energy project which is being constructed on Crown land approximately 75km NE of the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Greenwich Wind Farm will generate approximately 100 megawatts (MW) of electricity. This is enough clean, renewable energy to power around 30,000 typical Canadian homes. The project will be connected to high-voltage transmission circuits located approximately 15km away. Existing logging roads and trails provide access to the site and provide a good framework for future construction and maintenance of road networks. Tulloch has provided field services to the developer including setting up project control and doing legal surveys for the transmission lines. During the winter months Tulloch field crews completed a site review of all the existing roads, trails, and tower sites providing a detailed report and a coordinated drawing showing pictures referenced to GPS points.
