Dianor Mine

In 2009, Dianor Resources required the preparation of a baseline environmental study in support of a Closure Plan for Advanced Exploration at their site near Wawa, Ontario. Great Lakes Environmental Services provided a complete environmental baseline study over a period of approximately one year. The environmental study included comprehensive descriptions of fish and fish habitat, benthics, terrestrial ecosystems, vegetation, water quality and quantity, and sediment quality. All data was summarized in the Closure Plan.In addition, Great Lakes Environmental Services coordinated the remainder of the Closure Plan by compiling information from mining engineers and plant designers, and obtained the necessary Permits to Take Water for the project.
