Mining

Our environmental solutions minimize delay to mining projects by advancing the project Regulatory approvals process. Great Lakes’ water management staff provide a wide spectrum of services including stream rerouting, fish-habitat design, run-off interception, and erosion and sedimentation control plans. Our scientists and biologists offer the capability to successfully implement environmental baseline studies for all types of mine development projects.

Transportation
Almost every component of a transportation project, from permitting and planning to design and construction, is subject to environmental scrutiny. Our experienced biologists, engineers, and scientists provide complete environmental services to all sectors within the transportation industry including rail transit and government highway/road departments. Great Lakes is registered in the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) Registry, Appraisal and Qualification System (RAQS) to provide Class Environmental Assessments and Natural Services, and is approved to conduct Fisheries Assessment and Contract Specialists assignments.
