In 2009, as part of the detailed design for the construction of a bridge over an existing railroad, Great Lakes Environmental Services was retained to prepare all Class Environmental Assessment documents and related studies for this project.

The team conducted site investigations and prepared detailed reports outlining the existing terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems on the project site.  An impact assessment on all identified values was also undertaken and the necessary DFO Authorization obtained to enable the project to proceed.
