Clarke and Associates (AJC) (a division of TULLOCH Engineering) offers services to private and government sector clients throughout the Hamilton, Halton, and Niagara regions and beyond. TULLOCH Engineering is a progressive consulting firm that provides engineering, land surveying, environmental, and mapping services. We are currently looking for an Engineering & Legal Survey Draftsperson to join the team. This is a permanent full-time position to begin as soon as the successful candidate is found.



  • Processing field data and computer-generated survey information

  • Perform calculations, analysis and computation of measurements on field survey data

  • Preparing pre-engineering, topographic, and cadastral plans (including SRPRs, Reference Plans, Subdivision and Condominium Plans and Crown Land Plans)

  • Formulating preliminary and detailed design drawings for various engineering and planning projects (grading design, calculated and conceptual building layout, construction layout, etc…)

  • Ensuring plans comply with both client and current drafting standards

  • Assist Project Managers in all aspects of project delivery



  • College diploma for Civil Engineering Technology, Geomatics Technology or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in legal survey or engineering survey drafting

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Proficient in the use of analytical and design software including MicroSurvey, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
