The Civil Engineering Team at TULLOCH offers services to private and government sector clients.  We provide solutions over a diverse range of engineering including Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Drainage and Hydrology, Land Development and Utility Scale Renewable Energy Facilities. Our team is known for innovative thinking and maintaining client satisfaction through quality and timely work. The work environment is fast paced, challenging, and rewarding.

 

We are currently looking for a full time Engineering Technician to join our Calgary team. This is a permanent, full-time position to begin as soon as a successful candidate is found.  We view this position as one with potential for growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers in all aspects of project delivery

  • Inspection and contract administration of civil engineering works

  • Demonstrate the essential skills related to the use of all equipment used to perform job responsibilities

  • Be physically fit and have a willingness to work outside in all weather conditions

 

Qualifications:

  • A college diploma from a Civil Engineering Technician or Technology program or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the design and construction of civil engineering works

  • Proficient in the use of various survey instruments, including Total Station, calculators, levels and GPS field equipment or an aptitude to learn

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Valid Alberta Driver’s License; and,

  • Willing to travel for site inspections and field work.
